I thought I almost broke my tractor the first time out ,help please!

Just purchased a new kioti CS 2510, front loader with a box scraper.First time out using the loader ,getting use to it and the joy stick came loose and spun around, I Was pisst and my wife was laughing ,are you kindling me .i already broke it ,F-me !! I spun it back in placeand tighten the nut with my hand and all works good.what do I need to do to prevent that from happening again ,lock tight the 2nuts that are against the metal plate on top of the boot? Tighten the first nut, then tighten the second while holding the first to keep it from turning. Word to wise, veiled swearing is frowned upon by TBN, and can get your posts deleted or worse...:confused3:

Ok Thankyou for the advise and I will not swear anymore ,sorry I was just upset at the stupid ordeal .

I feel that pain. When I got my MX during the first 10 or so hours of operation I must have gone through about 8 gallons of hydraulic fluid because every-time I used the BH some hose came loos shooting the stuff all over my work. Finally gave up and tightened every fitting on the sucker...and there are a lot of them on a BH

Took me at least three maybe four hours to check all the nuts/bolts on my brand new 2009 Kubota when I first got it. The word is - trust but verify. Anybody can miss a nut or bolt in the assembly process. I put blue Locktite on all my wheel nuts and the big 'ol FEL frame bolts. I still check them - all - every spring.
