I would say some of the speed difference between the 8 speed and the 12 speed is that they are rated with a different tire size. The 12 speed is rated with a taller tire which would make it faster to some extent.
Dont know ifn this accounts for all the difference.

Here's the speed chart from my owner's manual. Surprised to see that the 12 speed low gear is just a bit faster than the 8 speed.

That is pretty surprising, pretty much the 4 extra gears give a little more gear spread and top end. So creeper is mandatory for a lower speed. Saying that if no one cared for the 24 mph top end for alot of roading though the 8 speed with creeper would work. Mine runs 19-20 mph topped out (I don't like keeping it there) and honestly all I need for running to the farm. A creeper option in mine would be AWESOME, at least you have that option. I hope NH will see this, lol.

If i am not mistaking the annoying beep is a program update also. Got that update done a while back the stop light and beeper would come on just randomly then go off. The update also seemed to make mine quieter when the burnoff or whatever is going on, don't ask me why it just did..

Good to know! I may let my tractor make a complimentary visit soon, but I kinda hate to also as long as it's running right. Keep me in the loop if it corrected yours.

Looks like a 621 loader but hard to tell from the pics. Did you opt for that or is that what the dealer had?

It is a 621. I specified for it when I priced it out.

Nice looking ground, does look like it could be wet at times.
Myself I wouldn't know what to do with that type of ground, sandy, no rocks, no stone ledges, no steep hills couldn't handle that. :drink:

Welcome to the flat woods :D And yeah, with a wet season like we've had it tends to get a little wet, but not flood plain wet. The water does drain, just slow at times. Lol

Thanks for the review. That’s basically exactly what I’m set on for a tractor but I’m leaning towards the WM 50. Not sure what I’m gonna get for tires yet. R1’s or r4’s with chains... anything you would’ve done differently or any options that you’d highly suggest?

Just for reference I had a 50 for 2 years. Never had any issues at all. It had R4's. IMHO I prefer Ag's. I finish mowed my yard with it and the R4's were a compromise. Would spin in the wet or mud. Did float better and not rut as bad. Ag's would have torn up the yard though.

I really liked my 50. The 621 FEL is very strong. Make sure the rears are loaded and you use ballast. Some folks have had some issues with theirs. My only problem was the pins on the FEL were not engaging deep enough in the quick attach carrier and intermittently would come unattached. This did not occur often but once in a while. The 50/60/70 series are fine utility sized machines. I traded up for the comfort of a cab.
