Landscape rake

I have a MX5100 and an Everything Attachment 8' rake and am VERY pleased with it. I did not get guide wheels because they mentioned you cant spin it around with the wheels on. I do almost a mile of gravel road monthly and spin the rake "backwards" to final drag it so this would be a bit of pain for me.

So after more research, this is prob. the LR I'm going to purchase. What do y'all think of it? Also... are the gauge wheels a put on & leave on kind of thing or are they simple to remove should I want to?

Everything Attachments Landscape Rake, Root Rake

This is without a doubt one of the better landscape rakes available today. BUT, be sure to request that you want it to have offset capability.

The wheel kit bolts on, each wheel bar is held on with two bolts.

Then the wheels are adjustable with stop collars and pinch bolts, you could remove just the wheels completely or flip them over by removing the pinch bolt and collar.

I bought the 8’ but upgraded to one with offset option, have used it a few times so far and been very pleased. IMG_0245.JPGIMG_3134.JPGIMG_3159.JPG

I assume the offset capability is what your 2nd pic shows? Is that standard on the EA V3 severe extreme landscape rakes?

Another question... if I get the EA LR w/ offset option, do you still recommend an 8' rake for my MX5800 or should I go 7'?

You still want the 8 footer. Offset feature is typically used for ditch clean out or when operating close to a building or wall. Keep in mind that an 8' rake angled at 35* is only about 78" wide. 45* puts you at 67".

It’s a little over 300 dollar option on that rake.

Update: finally got my EA landscape rake a few days ago. I opted for the 8' offset version like some of you recommended. Definitely a good call on the width, I would have been happy w/ the 7' but I wouldn't have known what I was missing out on. It was worth the wait, only used it for an hour so far but it's one heckuva rake! Much better than the other lighter duty rakes I've had. Highly recommend!

Ordered the 8' w/offset & wheels last week. With my new TnT it'll be very useful landscaping the new home site.

Hey Code - you spin it backwards then drive fwd? If so, what does that do, just fine smooth it?
