3-Point Hitch Three point hitch -Basic Question

/ Three point hitch -Basic Question #11
With the telescoping lower arms on the L60 series, don’t try to exactly back up to the implement pins. Stop about an inch short, then press the release plate on the lower arms, pull them out and onto the pins. Be sure to back into the implement after it’s all hooked up to collapse the telescoping lower arms into final position.

You don't need the HTLM reference for a link, the forum automatic "URL" locate feature will do it for you...

L6060 has deluxe LOWER LINK STABILIZERS pin adjustable for width; latch adjustable for length.

Pull two pins (one on each side) on Stabilizer Arms for LOWER LINKS. Spread arms to tires. Insert pin on each side into first or second hole. One or the other set of these paired pin holes will set LOWER LINKS appropriate width for most implements.

Back tractor to implement. LOWER LINKS should fit into clevis "ears" if you have removable draft pins, or be just outside fixed, bolted-on draft pins, the other alternative.

Unlatch and lengthen/shorten horizontal LOWER LINK length adjustment within two inch adjustment space available.

Connect the left LOWER LINK first, which does NOT have vertical adjustment.
(Pull stabilizer pin to adjust width, if necessary)

Connect the right LOWER LINK second, using the screw adjustment in the center of the right LIFTING ROD to set correct vertical height.
(Pull stabilizer pin to adjust width, if necessary)

TOP LINK last.

I congratulate Jeff in that he is the only one to tell to hook up the non adjustable lift arm first. Since hardly anyone has perfectly level platform on which to hook up, then adjusting the left lift arm with the tractors hydraulic so you can install it first is the only correct thing to do. Then you can raise or lower the right side with the adjustable threaded link to fit the implement (may need to readjust after hook up to level the implement).
You can then hook up the PTO shaft next so the top link isn't in your way.

Even better, if you put "video" in front and "/video" after it in square brackets instead of quotes, it will embed for you:

Guys,

THANK YOU. I learned a lot and I copy and paste all of your tips. What is obvious for all of you is not for a newbie!
