Comparison Deere 5065E vs M7060 value & pricing

So I need a new utility tractor and I’m trying to decide between a 7060 or a 5065E. I’m fairly colorblind and have owned Deere in the past but never Kubota.

My biggest question is what pricing I should expect on the two models after discounts. I’m in Eastern Tennessee and my local Kubota dealer quoted me list on everything including attachments.

My second question is as these two models are very similar why would I pay a premium on one versus the other.

The dealer I talked to here in Nevada refused to give any discounts also. Before I went to talk to them I "built" my M7060HDC12 on line - and the quote the dealer gave me matched the on-line price exactly (I did not tell the dealer I'd got on-line price already).

I can tell you that I looked at Kubota and Deere recently - the Kubota like for like minus the MMM was significantly more for orange paint - why I am not sure - the Kubota was less HP and the teeter totter pedal was not my favorite over the deere hst pedals so that would have weighed into my purchase decisions but once I got the pricing I didn't need to compare anything else it was green for me. I am talking over 5K difference - deere really came to the plate negotiating

Get a quote from Barlow's, it ended up being worth it for me to make the 500 mile drive to get my last tractor from them instead of buying local even when I went back with Barlow's numbers to the local guys.

I sent a quote request to Barlow’s. I also contacted New Holland on their Workmaster but I’m not impressed with the dealer.

The Massey guy was so unresponsive that even their corporate rep couldn’t get ahold of him

The Deere dealer has been the most responsive and helpful but that’s not surprising considering the amount of money they spend on their dealer network.

That was a great explanation of features. I see a lot more differences in the cab model but I’m buying an open station. I definitely want the 12 speed now if I go Kubota and the fuel tank is in a much nicer position than the Deere.

I will concede that the Kubota has a much nicer fit and finish. The challenge is getting the price right. If Deere is 10k less than its kind of a no brainer. These are tools after all and made to be worked not admired.

I was expecting something fairly dramatic. That’s a video of a guy who’s dealer is taking care of him after he’s apparently had some issues (doesn’t say what those issues are)

I’ve driven a 5065E on another farm for over 350 hours and didn’t have a single problem other than the trailer light being recalled.

I’m open to all brands but dealer service is really important and I think Deere shines in that department.
