I could take up the whole thread with examples, at work they called me Joe "DaFoot", they even turned it into a verb. example; I just "DaFooted", I'm glad I could keep them all laughing it sure made the shifts go by faster!

Back in high school friend said his girl friend was going to be "abroad" for her jr. year. I asked what is she usually?. It didn't bother him a bit. He walked into Dairy Queen, when they first started selling burgers, and asked the girl behind the counter for a "Brazier Burger". She just stood there with a deer in the headlights look.
I wouldn稚 assume they were grandkids. Lots of women have kids very young and then their kids do too. I know some grandparents in their 30痴 - yikes. Most women doctors finish their schooling to become a doctor before they have kids and it is quite normal for them to have kids later than the average female.

Years ago I worked at a place where a fellow worker Bob was 4ft 10". One Friday payday we were in line waiting for our paychecks. The boss asked where Bob was. A fellow worker said he went on to become a short order cook. Boss said "I didn't know he could cook!".

Thought of another.. The company I started out with installing security systems did most of their work in the quarter and uptown, where all the old New Orleans money tended to live. You can't imagine some of the homes.. Anyway.. My immediate boss was speaking to the homeowner, they were talking about a large painting in front of them. I look and ask if he knew Mick Jaeger, he looked perplexed so I pointed at the painting.
He informed me that was his wife.
I felt like it was a good idea to straighten up the van while they finished their conversation.

We were all at lunch( at work) and this really well endowed blonde came into the room. She was really beautiful. A couple of the guys made rather rude, suggestive comments. One fellow said - "Yes, and it's really great to cuddle up next to her at night". It was her husband. You could have heard a mouse urinating on a cotton ball.
