When they gave me orders for the Pentagon, I put my papers in and retired.

In 1983, I was awarded the "Individual Productivity Enhancement" award and went to DC to have it presented. While there, I got a good taste of the politics and petty infighting between services and decided I wanted no part of it. Several of the people I had worked with over the years were there and they pretty much told me the same thing.

I know, someone had to do it, far better that it was you and not me. :smiley_aafz:
