E15 gas

I'm pretty sure E15 gas won't take food off of anyone's plate. The problem is a surplus of corn and a shrinking market to sell it.

I think E10 is plenty, forget E15 and E85. And make plenty of regular gas for those that want it.
If there is a surplus of corn then why do I pay $10 for a 50# bag of feed corn when 15 years ago (before ethanol fuel) that same bag was $2.50?
It is not from inflation......

We get E10 but have not seen any others such as E15, I was told that it is less economical as you burn more to get the same result but this was from a self proclaimed expert so I don't know if it is true.

I thought it was odd that a large gathering of republicans at a trump rally last night was going crazy in support for E15. That's it.

With E fuel, you get less mpg, so it's true that you have to burn more to get the same amount of work done... You don't notice it so much with E10, not sure about E15 though...

You definitely notice it with E85 though!

I HATE the stuff! (E fuel)

Also our cars advise to use 91 Octane only but an earlier one advised 91 or E10 so I go with the manufacturers recommendations.
The difference in price here is only about 1 or 2c per litre.

Burning food for fuel. They don't throw rice at weddings in the Philippines.

That price increase is the result of the E10 mandate. Along with higher meat prices and anything else that is a corn consumer.

Our government wants all the older vehicles off the road to force us into buying newer cars. The auto manufacturers are pricing themselves out of business so they need another bailout.

You are 100% correct.

Current auto pricing cannot be sustained.
The average pick up truck buyer will not pay $70k for a truck.

So the customer base is shrinking.

Now in steps the government in an attempt to create auto customers by force.

We are heading for another "correction"

Hopefully this time the government does not pick the winners and losers.

Who says you have to pay 70K for a new truck??

A pretty nice full size NEW 4x4 pu can be bought today for under 30K and yes that's still too much!

All you have to do is buy a nice WORK TRUCK and stop trying to get one nicer than the neighbors!!

Ford, GM and Toyota have stopped making cars here but we still pay a tariff to protect a non existent industry when buying a new vehicle.
