Good morning. A slightly misty start to the day here, though a lot warmer than Texas. Too gloomy to see what is going on in the fields, I'm delaying my usual walk about until I've returned from an early morning check up at the dentist.

I tried to beat the gloom yesterday evening and lost. All I was doing was welding a rectangular frame out of 30mm square tubing and I rushed it, in an attempt to get it done before darkness. Only awkward thing was that it was wider than my welding table, so I paid extra attention to keeping it flat. Got it finished just as I was being called in for tea and felt pleased with myself as the diagonals were equal to within the nearest mm. After tea I put it away for the night, I would have slept well - if I hadn't then realised the dimensions were 30mm out :confused2: . Oops :ashamed:

Drew, so you never played conkers as a kid ? You missed a lot of fun - plus a few bruises on your hand when you found your opponent was the idiot who favoured power instead of accuracy.

Was planning on going hiking up in the mountains until I got a kink in my back doing my sit-ups this morning. Now when I take a deep breath, it isn't pleasant at all. Coco will have to settle for a shorter hike this afternoon.

Got some paperwork and mowing to do anyway.

Good morning all, 55 going to 63 and partly sunny. No plans for today, will see. Have found out the my wife's essential peppermint oil is very good for opening your sinuses. :thumbsup:

I have found that if you leave the small limbs where they are and just mow as usual they disappear fairly quickly. :laughing: I even keep a hand pruner on the mower and cut small limbs that are bothering me and just mow them. Works for me.

Good morning all. A warmer 68 out now only going up to mid 70s, cloudy, rain coming in tonight.

Ed, peppermint oil also gets rid of ants!

taking last of veggies to food pantry this morning, and made a big container of cranberry orange mini muffins for the whole crew of volunteers.
Turned out pretty well, since I snitched a few for QC.

Ordered my seeds yesterday for next year and ordered 400 pounds of seed potatoes.
And decided to sell my larger Massey tractor, too hard for me to use. Think I will buy that adapter kit that converts a pto connector
into something easier. That will allow me to get mowers and chipper on and off hopefully way more easily on the Kubota.

49° here this morning with forecast of 55° this afternoon. Looks like a cool damp week here.

Average highs should be low 80's this time of year.

Received another 3/4" of rain yesterday. The ground is saturated and both tanks are filling, less than 12" from being full now.

Ran out of space on my work computer, has a 256GB SSD.. bought a 1TB SSD (both M.2 format) to put in it, working on cloning original drive now... patient is key... having issues with BCD and bitlocker now, might be a long night..

Can you just add the old drive to the new computer? That’s what I did when I went to my terabyte system 4-5 years ago.

Poured first cup of coffee. 26° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 51° with sunny skies. Off all hospital prescriptions today. Pain is about what I had before surgery. But in a different place. Son came over and cut lawn yesterday. Picked up the limbs in lawn. Then repaired Harvey's ice machine. No plans for today.

Got my cousin to take me and wife to a Dr. appointment for wife. Not a good visit. Getting a brace for neck. She is loosing strength in her neck. But good news on eating. Eat as much as she wants. Try to consume 2500 calories a day.
