2018 gc 1705 FEL handle extension

Hello folks
Has anybody fabricated a longer FEL extension handle to make less reach for the factory FEL handle control ?

I haven't done it but I would think it to be a simple job with a threaded rod and a coupling

If you take the knob off and find a threaded piece of 5/8 pipe, you could just thread it on, cut the pipe were you need it, give it squirt of black paint and put the knob back on..

Thanks for the info . I didn't try to remove the knob . I wasn't sure if it was threaded or smooth handle .

Mine is threaded but the knob is not and has a bit of glue holding it on.. If yours isn't threaded you could thread it..
