Very nice. That is a project of mine for next spring - clear an area for a small plot and hope I can get enough sunlight through the trees for it to do something.

No sir.. strick rule.. no shooting from house unless it’s a hog.... We like to watch the deer in the mornings drinking coffee and evenings while bbq’ing...

I'd watch that, too! I don't think deer in Canada drink coffee nor barbecue...dang, American deer are smart and civilized (but do they vote?)!

Here in western Oregon, we have had the driest May-Oct on record. I picked the wrong time to try a food plot! Anyhow, I planted winter peas and radish, and with the rain starting now things might pop up. Unfortunately, today is the last day of rifle season.

This picture was taken after I cleared the brush. The whole area was completely grown over with scotch broom and hawthorns.
