No RK store

Rural King is like tractor supply, Lowes or HD, your small grocery store, and local gun/outdoors store COMBINED.

Sorry, but I've never seen lumber, millwork, drywall, windows/doors or shingles in my RK.

And you won't find baby chicks at Lowes either! Lots of the same type of products are sold at both.

A better comparison would be a True Value or ACE Hardware as far as the hardware, paints, lighting and so on.

I live in GA too - Cumming. There is a story behind the FL stores. The guy who led Rural King for many years, part of the founding family, semi-retired and spends the cold months in FL farming citrus and the warm months in IL farming corn and soybeans. Just one of those people that stays in the game for life. Once he got to FL, saw the potential, eight Rural King stores sprang up. We are now in AL, TN, NC, and will be just a matter of time before we enter the great state you and I call home.

I moved from the Cumming area 2.5 years ago. :cool2: It was fun until it was no longer fun. (traffic) Madison is like Alpharetta was when I moved to Ga. in 1988.

Yup, it is getting tough here. I live near the Dawson county line, Hampton subdivision, it was quiet here when I moved in 11 years ago, now its exploding. My wife was born in Roswell when it was farmland.
