Bucket Hooks Gotta Start Someplace.....Hooks on the NH 54D

Just finished installing a set of 3 HD hooks on my NH 54D. Rather then weld directly onto the 250TLA loader I found a 3/8" thick hunk of 4" x 50" bar stock. Wish I had 1/4" thick as 3/8" is way overkill. Anyway, used my AC buzz box and some 7014 rods to weld the hooks to the bar then bolted the bar to the 4" wide top lip of the loader using a bunch of 5/8" grade 5 bolts.

Pretty happy how it turned out. I aligned the chain hooks directly in front of each hydraulic and a huge open hook directly between them.

Hi there Gordan, thank you. It is new to me but truth be told it cannot be called new. It is a 2017 model that was used by NH corporate as a demo/training unit to show different dealers it's operation & features like CVT. It has 50 hours on it and I was able to get a full extended warranty etc with it.

BTW, I cannot figure out how to add a picture of it with my name even though I have uploaded one in the personal settings area. Anyway, below should be a picture of it.

Hi there Preston. Thanks ! I must confess I do need to do a little cleaning up in the cab hi-hi. Now when it dries up a little bit I have a whole bunch of chores to knock out before the snow fly's. 73

That looks great. Neat idea for the chain hooks too, I have never seen that style before. I just posted a pic of a pine tree I plucked out with mine earlier today, worked perfect.
