Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

For me, probably more frustrating than not owing the right tool for a project is owning the right tool but not having it with me when I need it!
Or having the right tool and you have to fix it to fix something.

They all stink. To me its easier to just lay in bottom of drawer in an organized fashion. They always fall off the racks.
Good luck finding one with the right # of slots for your wrenches too....
The reason I'm buying these is because I have more wrenches than can fit in the 2 54" x 22" drawers while laying flat. So to help stop the insanity, I need to have them held at an angle with some overlap.

Just buy another toolbox! Just kidding, kinda.

Can I get your home address please? I'm going to need a new place to live after I go but another toolbox and my wife cuts my nuts off and tosses me out.

If these don't work out how about cutting angled grooves in a piece of plywood? You can control plywood size, groove angle and width to match your tools. May even be able to strategically place magnets underneath to keep the wrenches and wood in place.

I have the HF cheap and intermediate grinders in addition to the paddle switch one. When I tried HF's grinder cutoff mount I installed the $10 HF grinder in it, because that grinder wasn't as useful as the intermediate one that was my primary grinder at the time. It didn't take much loading, weight, on the grinder to make the disc wander off the layout line without bogging down the grinder. I quit using the flimsy HF mount at that point. It seemed dangerous.

I think HF's $10 angle grinder should be sufficient to put in the new NT mount as a cutoff saw. It has a slide on/of switch. This use doesn't work the grinder very hard.

Keep us posted, I'd like to see how this thing works for you. I can see it being useful.

As for the HF paddle switch grinder mentioned elsewhere, the safety fell off of mine and the switch sometimes stays on by itself. I like that grinder the least of all the grinders I have including the $10 ones. It also picks up dirt from the ground if you set it down while it's still spinning which means it sand blasts you when you turn it back on. Hard to beat the ten dollar ones at that price.

This is exactly why I wanted a service bed when I bought my last truck. Wife shot down the idea. So I’m stuck with a full toolbox in a truck so tall I can’t see in the toolbox of. And I mean full. If something isn’t right the lid won’t shut. I keep wanting to add a drawer stack for the common stuff. But haven’t found one with consistent good reviews.

Harbor Freight is building a new store in Owensboro, KY. That will be my closest one once complete.

I have it, too, and actually like it. It was the paddle switch that sold me on it. I've had no issues with mine.

I guess that's why HF has sold them for so long.
I have several angle grinders from various vendors and noticed the other day, the button that locks the shaft has broken or fallen out on two or three.
