Yeah unlike the pallets in the field mystery where the OP threw it out there and then disappeared!

You say that this floor is very old and somehow I got the impression that it was built with used lumber. How sure are you that these holes weren't there all the time? Maybe plugged with something that has fallen out?

He said the floor was very dirty from the previous owners, so most likely they just weren't noticeable at first. They look suspiciously round to me, too uniform to have been done by any animal known to man. Perhaps Stuckmotor is right; and now I'm starting to get a little nervous. If he or the OP should disappear we will know that they were grabbed to shut them up.
