What to use for a level indicator for forks?

Yeah, somewhere along the line one has to use a wire (power, and likely ground), which kind of defeats the notion of avoiding issues of snagging wires (which I'm quite familiar with:eek:). I tend to think that a wire is essential for a reliable video feed.
Trust me...just get the hard wired ones with the 4 pin cables...only way to go

Could you elaborate why you believe one should go with 4-pin cables?

The power and video are all is one wire so you dont need to run 2 sets. The wireless still requires a power wire. Here is my setup... 20181201_162546.jpeg20181201_162559.jpeg20181201_162515.jpeg20181201_162503.jpeg20181201_164638.jpeg

Two wire cables are usually molded together, thus basically making up one cable. Installation and maintenance would tend to differ little. I was thinking that it was perhaps the benefit was for video stability.

I'll note that LCD monitors take a bit to warm up before you get a stable image. Incentive to allow the tractor's fluids to also warm up a bit before use:D

4 pin cables are better video quality than RCA

I had auto leveling loader on my New Holland. My Kubota MX doesn’t. My eyes don’t have any problem leveling the forks to pick up pallets

OK, I'll keep that in mind when I upgrade my entertainment system in my tractor (to watch movies)

Lol...I hear ya. I have a bad back, so not having to turn around as much is helpful. I may look for an XBox too. Lmao

ONE thing I have thought about, given tech trends and price drops, has been a video camera, or several with split screen display.Back up cameras are CHEAP these days, fairly rugged and adaptable - depends how much Inventioneering Ya wanna do.---------------------------------------------------.
If you get a back up camera, make sure the image is reversible. Back up cameras have a wide field of view, which is great for backing up, but not great for positioning fork tips.

I have a 53 degree field of view camera on the front and it is very handy.

This is on a Kubota M7060 cab tractor. The cameras are mounted on magnets, so easy to move.

The magnets don't interfere with the camera signals ???? Thanks as I would like to do the same thing with my M5140 Where did you get the cameras and magnets
