Wow! Did the seller steal it? Let's call the new one $29,000 msrp. If the usual mark up resides at 25%, then the dealer is paying around $21,750. Of course he's not selling it for that but may offer a 15% break which price for the customer comes in now at $24, 650 plus sales tax if your state is so inclined. 21-23K would be a bargain as 60 hrs is nothing and you're not paying sales tax.

Now get proof that its paid off . if the seller has a loan on it , and you buy it , the tractor is still collateral for the loan . So if it ever goes in for service , they will take it

Oddly, on our first call he said "if we don't sell this this winter, we will probably keep it" Seems ***-backwards to me, they should be making the valiant attempt to be selling it in the summer, not the winter.
