Who has the best deal going for a 25 hp tractor?

I have a Mahindra 1526 HST tractor. The tractor is built by Mitshubishi and is a well built unit. It comes in under the emissions limit and is just an old school, mechanical injected, good running motor. Only bad things I can say about it is since it is an indirect injected motor, it needs it's glow plugs to fire up. And it has the heel toe type treadle HST pedals instead of the side by side. I did not get a loader on mine [ have two other loader tractors ], but it is a skid steer quick attach like most Mahindra's. They let Yooper's migrate to Wisconsin....?? We try to keep them from wandering south across the Big Mac.... :)

Most places are having some kind of year end holiday sale. The dealership I purchased my tractor from is running some great specials this weekend. Just need to figure what you want and go talk numbers.

My only point was that 0% financing shouldn't be the selling point of which tractor you purchase.

Edit: Also, if you have a good bank they will give excellent loans for farm equipment, if not 0% **** close to it. I would find the tractor I wanted and then talk about financing.

I agree - that would be the tail wagging the dog. It could be the difference make on an otherwise close call, though. Nonetheless, if the buyer is planning to finance, then upcoming changes in interest rates are worth considering. I don't think the recent fed rate increases over the past year have been built into most prices yet, but they will pretty soon. Same with housing - there is a bit of a lag where home sales will start to slow before prices go down to offset higher rates. It's happening now.

There are not any banks around me that I know of that will finance at near zero percent for farm equipment. The ag lender in my area is around 6 to 7 percent. Auto loans tend to be the lowest of all interest rates and even those are around 2.5 to 3 percent with excellent credit.

Not know much about your actual needs and focusing on bang for buck only, this is what I would recommend

LS XJ2025 $14,500 avg w. loader.

Branson 2510h (3 ranges, telescopic stabilizers, position control, etc) - you should be able to get a tractor + loader for not more than $15,500 avg

Mahindra Max 26xl
Kioti CK2510

How do you like your Max 26XL? I want to sit on one and take it on a test drive so I can get a price.

So far I like my Mahindra.
Currently I'm having issues getting a hydraulic line I need to replace, but overall it has been a good experience.
--Part number 19582580AG0--my current headache

I also tried the LS XJ2025 on multiple occasions.

I have to be honest, I feel that my Max is a little rough on the edges.

For example when I tried the Kubota B2601 and a Kioti CK2610(I know is a larger machine) I felt that those two machines were more refined and had a better control input response. You could make finer adjustments and precise movements without without any jerkiness...

I'm learning to operate my tractor more and more everyday, but I think the Kubota and Kioti are easier in that regards.
To me in terms of finesse:
Kubota>Kioti>(Mahindra=LS)

You need to try each tractor and see for yourself, that's the moto.

Yooper Dave - without specifics on what you want in a tractor or expect to do with a tractor - this only stirs up a lot of dust and hot air. Talk about your proverbial "shot in the dark" - this is a real prize winner.

Example - the local Massey-Ferguson dealer in Odessa, WA is have a fantastic deal, right now, on a 2014 MF 7618 tractor.
Low hours - 1960, Hp - 150, asking price - only $115,000. That is a cabbed tractor - four rear SCV setup - and FEL with ANBO grapple and all the accoutrements that go along with that model. However - the delivery costs could be a deal killer.

Am I making my point.........

The more you can tell us - the better the answers will be.

You say you want a tractor - my answer - - YES, many want a tractor.

Any too good to be true end of year deals going on?

SSQA is a requirement.

TIA

Yooper Dave
From what I've seen lately the best deals are the RK and TYM tractors and the LS XG3025. TYM has the T234, which is a bit bigger frame than the T254/RK24. If you have a Kioti or Branson dealer nearby they are worth a look, but from what I have seen you will pay a bit more for those. I have looked at the Kioti large frame 25 hp tractor and it seems to be a solid piece. It was a bit more than the $14,900 I was quoted for the XG3025 with a loader.

Might get better suggestions if you specified the work you will be doing and attachments you will use.

I will be snow plowing a 50' x 130' paved driveway with a grade in Northern Wisconsin on 2 acres. With the SSQA will be adding a 5' wide snow pusher and pallet forks and maybe a large snow bucket. No Mower as I have a new 52" Toro ztr. Leaning towards an LS XJ2025h with loader and loaded rears for $14,900. dealer is only 10 min. away. Currently using my 36hp LG (Farmtrac) with a 6' rear snowblower and bucket which is larger than what I need and takes up quite a bit of room in the garage.

I looked at that one. The only thing that sent me to the 125 was the fact that I could use the MMM without taking the BH subframe off. You can't do that with the 2025 according to my dealer.

I don't mow with the full BH on, but having to take the subframe off seemed excessive.

If you won't need or want the MMM, it won't matter.
