I havent seen any issues with Kubota loaders. They shouldn't budge if you leave 1,000lbs on them for weeks. The rear remotes & the TnT cylinders I had were crap. Cylinders didnt fit right & leaked externally. I have FitRite cylinders now. They dont leak, but the internal valves do. After a replacement valve my toplink only drops an inch in hour. My sidelink will extend all the way in an hour or 2.

No clue what the leakdown on my 3rd rear valve or 3rd function valve are. The 3rd function is for a PHD & snow plow angle. I'll never notice on the PHD & not likely to either for hydraulic angle on the SSQA mount snow plow. The side shift on my flsil mower isnt likely to have issues even if the valving sucks.

Get tires set how you want them. Mine are ser to 72" which is good stability & manuverability. Its a pain to change widths & get new impliments match. Not strictly required, but often a good idea.

Work a WSM in to the deal. Probably your first & second services, or at least supplies so you can do your own maintnance.

Makes worry in the TNT and draft control are dealer installed options after looking around my dealers shop my shop looks better equipped same with their personal toolbox. I included WSM and supplies out to and include the 200 hour maintenance, Kubota supplies are expensive.

My 2009 Kubota M6040 has eight tire width positions for both front and rear. Front are set at the mid point - rear at next to the very widest. If you will be doing work with an implement on the FEL - get those rears set out wide. Don't worry about the rear tire width vs the bucket width. I have a 72" HD bucket and my rears are set at 80" - my uber HD grapple is 60" - - the FEL implement width vs the rear tire width has NEVER been a problem of ANY kind. Load your rear tires with water and some form of anti-corrosive agent. Get a heavy implement on the 3-point.

My Land Pride GS1560 grapple weighs 820 pounds - I have 1550 pound of Rim Guard in the rear tires - my Rhino 950 rear blade weighs 1100 pounds. The tractor set up this way weighs - 10,100 pounds. Weight is your FRIEND.........

BTW - my FEL & 3-point has been left "up" for weeks and never dropped an inch - God bless my son. But he is learning.

Roy - you plan on doing/having done all these tests on a new tractor BEFORE the dealer delivers?? You must have found a VERY accommodating dealer. You ask to do these or have them done - you could well end up on the dealers **** list.

Really? Geh I just consider it due diligence, and all part of the dealers job even checking the Hyd pressure since they will be installing the draft control and the TNT. I would think they would have a connect with meter on it for typical diagnose. They should be willing to show me how all the stuff works which means putting some implements on and how to use the disconnect and quick attach How the draft control works, TNT. Now taking delivery of grapple is a favor and filling the tires also, but I will inform of all this at the contract signing. That also means when get to my barn they can just unload and go. Because if something is wrong it is $250.00 to pickup and return.

When I bought my new Ford Shelby Gt350 dealer took me on a drive explained all the driving modes, put the car on rack to inspect for loading damage , suspension block removal proper installation of front spoiler filled the tank with 93 octane fuel, explained Ford free 2 day driving school. Detailed all the unique suspension parts demonstrated the electronic control shocks, even hooked a diagnostic tool and cycled the oiler cooler pumps. Took about 2 hours and offer to buy lunch. So when your spending that kind of money I want service.

I went to my dealer 2 different weekends before delivery to test everything. They were very accommodating...let me piddle with it for hours and ask questions. I know I am very fortunate to have such a great dealer. They also had to deliver in the mountains...which isn’t an easy trip with a tractor in tow.

Roy be careful on those roots with the grapple. You dont want to bend up your FEL arms. Unlike a Skid Steer, the tractor FEL arms are unsupported against the frame when lowered. It is all to easy to get unequal pressure if you dont hit the root exactly perpendicular to the grapple.

Best of luck and enjoy the new machine.
