Old Blue starting to scratch out a spot for the mother of all yard barns:
Ford 3000.jpg

My father in-law farmed with this one for many years before handing it down. I don't even remember how many hours are on it. It needs tires and could use some tie rod ends, but it's still solid. These days it is mostly used for mowing and keeping up our nearly 1/4 mile long driveway. It encouraged a root ball of an ugly tree to vacate the front yard yesterday. The root ball figured there was no point in arguing...

That's very cool. What's your primary production?
Hay, cattle and 100 acres of corn. Dad lives on a 740 acre farm and I have 140 acres. My 140 is all pasture except where my home is and dad has about 470 acres of pasture. I have spent more of my 30 years in the seat of a tractor than I have not. I'm actually mowing hay right now

Hi Ford lovers. I have been collecting Ford compacts for a while. I have the 1100 - 1900 series 2wd & 4wd (12 in all) Can't get any serious collectors interested, so I am going to sell one at a time. All are one owner & low hour. Most restored. If anyone is interested in adding to there collection, let me know.Kenny View attachment 581943

As I am sure you know, parts are somewhat tough to find for the xx00 Fords.
That issue will likely affect the selling.

Hi fried 1765 thanks for the reply. I think that is right and the ease of taking a new tractor off the lot with little or no payment. too easy! I have 2 side and screen panels for 1920 if you are in need. Kenny

I'm late to this party since I just got my 1st tractor this spring. I bought this '84 1710 4X4 with 1023 hours, now has 1043. I put the used $600 Chinese wood chipper on it and got rid of more manzanita in a few hours than months of using my truck and a chain and a burn pile. I'm just a hobby land owner, 40 acres of forest with a mangled trail going through it somebody haphazardly made many decades ago. I hope to acquire a box blade soon but no rush since I'm basically snowed out until it thaws (5500' elevation). I think it's a good size for me, small enough for my garage and easy towing, large enough to do basically everything I need it to do. Will turn that wood chipper for 6 hours on 2.5 gallons of diesel. Here's my pic, sadly it has my ugly mug on it.

Looks to be in great shape! From what I've seen the Japanese Fords are solid tractors. I'm sure you will find it very handy to have around.
