If you're thinking of the trackhoe pushing the tree over to remove the stump, cutting the stump off for burning and loading the trunk, you won't find anyone to do that. Two reasons: 1) Pushing over the tree has the risk of tearing the fibers internally making it useless for lumber 2) A tree with dirt/mud/stuff on the trunk is a "dirty" tree and the plant doesn't want those either.What I'd really like to do is find a logger that would work with the guy I'm getting to do some land clearing. Such as, the trackhoe pushes trees to the burn area and the logger cuts and loads from there. Not sure if they'd work that way or not.
If you do find someone to do this, let me know! I'd be willing to make him a really good deal! My basal area is about twice what it should be and I'm losing trees because of it.
