Hello everyone!
I would like to thank you all for your advice on two wheel tractors. I decided to go with an 853 electric start with the honda engine. I ordered up the 30" blade runner with the optional roller added, 30" tiller, and the older style 32" barely used bcs power harrow. I also am getting the 22 x 6.5 tires, foam filled, and root digger, ridger, hiller furrower, 5.5" extensions, and barbell hanger for wheels. I might get an aldo biagioli cultivator set too, but not sure yet. I may need to look into additional tire/wheel/extension/ track options later. We will find out!
Thanks again folks, can't wait to put it to use! !

I should be getting the majority of it in first week of January, as the shop is closed for holidays. Today, I took the old motor of my troy built horse, and am working on getting an HF predator 212 motor on it, to sell, or give to brother in law...but I'm finding it's been pieced together I think. It has two different wheel assemblies, so tires aren't centered on tines. Sheared the first bolt i went to remove from on top of motor mount pin... might look into seals for tiller ... Spring will be here faster then we think!

Congrats - bought one last year and love the machine!

From what I've read, the next thing you need is a rotary plow! I recently purchased a new one off ebay when ebay had a 10%/$100 coupon. The $1050 price was too good to resist. I've been unable to try it out yet, though, because I'm also waiting for Earth Tools to get back Jan. 2 to send the j-connector for weights. I need to add rear weight to my 948, because it is too front heavy.

I needed to add some weight to my machine as well. I just made a bracket and welded a threaded pipe on it then used a pipe cap with a bar welded on it to hold the weights on. Cost next to nothing and works pretty good for a quick adjustable system (you will find you want to weight each attachment slightly differently to get the right balance)

I like your weight adapter, as well as the kick stand, but I need rear weights. The 948 has stock weights just behind the engine, so it is very front heavy. The 34" tiller requires a 3" extension to be balanced, bolted to the extension (there's no 3-bolt quick hitch). I've added a quick coupling onto the extension to use my other implements, but it is too front heavy. I went to use my snow thrower, and added a second 3" extension with both male and female quick hitches, and it was just to the point where the snow thrower would stay on the ground. I'm going to try j-bolting some weight to the tow hitch.

I couldn't figure out how to send the pic when I posted the previous message. The snow thrower is pretty much neutral with this much extension. I don't want to take the weights off from behind the engine if I don't have to. Joel @ Earth Tools told me the 750 had the weights redesigned and they're not as much of a PIA.

Wow, sure looks like a lot of torque on those cast flanges. Does BCS recommend that much of an extension?
