And for something actually related to the thread, I put door pins and bushings in my truck. For the minimal investment and effort this was I should have fixed it a long time ago. It closes like it’s supposed to now. IMG_1013.JPG

It is amazing how long I can live with something that slowly gets worse like your door hinges. Then like you said-why did I wait so long. Did you make the pins and bushings or find what you needed available ??

The pins were in good shape so I really didn’t need those. I could have made the bushings but it was $12 for a 4 bushing and 2 pin set so cheaper to buy. The roller pin that’s supposed to hold the door in position when opened was also busted. That pin was $13. And my heater motor only runs on low speed and not very good at that. I’ve had a new one rolling around in the seat for months that I haven’t bothered installing. And I’ve had a set of mud flaps for months that I haven’t bothered installing either.

You're making me feel like I am normal. Thank you.

I decided to “mobilize” this side cabinet I’m planning on using for housing drill bits/annular cutters. While I was at it I incorporated an adjustable roller work support for my drill presses.

Cool idea Terry  ; sooo, would that be a "Cutting Edge Rolling Roller Cabinet" ? Just curious, couldn't think of a fun acronym (yet) :D ...Steve

Nice... but! I have a couple metal cabinets that I made plywood dollies w/casters a few years ago. They are just begging for a custom metal frame dolly. For some reason the wood base bugs me. On my list of projects to grab some scrap 1/2 or 3/4in angle and make a base frame for them. But now I seen yours, I don't feel as bad. :D

I cheaped out, Mark. The wooden moving platform was on sale for less than the price of the four swivel casters. I just cut it to size and bolted the cabinet down.

Big Barn, is that cherry wainscoting in your shop? Now you've really gone over the top.

. Nope just fire engine red paint for the trim and slatwall.
