Did you get the 3/4 inch play that they mention in the manual. Im interested in how you did adjustment too

I adjusted the fee travel some to give it the inch of free travel.

Did you make the effective length of the threaded rod shorter or longer?

I think I made the threaded rod longer. Which ever I did the free travel did get a little longer but still seems to have the same issues

Thanks Scott. That's what worked for me, but I got to the end of the rod with only a little improvement.

Sounds like a clogged fuel filter or some other obstruction in the fuel supply.

I latched onto your first post and terms like “bogged down” and “sluggish” when I suggested the fuel issue.
From your later post it definitely seems as though something is slipping since you aren’t experiencing an RPM drop. If you do keep the RPMs up and the machine in gear one would think you would smell the clutch slipping and or see and feel signs of heat and or smoke at some point. Have you noticed any of these things?

There is a smell similar to when brakes get hot.

Sure sounds like a clutch problem. Do notice any smell like a clutch burning ?
