When I bought one a couple of years ago they jumped the price within an hour after hearing about it. The sale they ran right after Christmas stayed at the lower price for a couple of weeks. They will run it again.

It was on FleaBay for $499 for a short time. I elected to not buy, seemed too good to be true. But, you never know.

If you read the linked threads you'll see that for some unknown reason Factory-Authorized-Outlet frequently posts sub $650 prices for this generator, sometimes for a few hours, sometimes for a few days.

It was on FleaBay for $499 for a short time. I elected to not buy, seemed too good to be true. But, you never know.

it could have a Chinese engine that you can't get parts for, been there and done that,(different brand from pep boys) total waste if that's the case.. the list of repair centers for it was a total fabrication upon calling them.. 1 year old, and I had to throw it out because I couldn't buy the spark coil it needed..

Kinda what I was afraid might happen with this generator if you needed parts. When I hear things like Honda Clone I cringe.
