What oil has everyone found to work best when replacing the engine oil ?

It has a Wix oil filter now.

I do not have a Dealer close to me, have you found a place to ordered new fuel filters online ?

Thanks.

I use Shell "Rotella T" 15W-40 or Chevron "Delo 400"15W-40 in e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g - even my gas (F150) truck & my girlfriend's Chevy Impala.

You don't get very cold in GA, so most any good "diesel rated" 15W-40 oil is just fine. For folks up north, I suggest 5W-40 diesel engine oil in the winter.

It had a STP S2903 filter on the tractor when I bought it, it's wearing a AC-Delco PF57 right now. I have a Champ PH2903 for the next change.

If your Wix is a 51344, 51083 or 57046 .... just chop off the "5" and now its a Napa 1344, 1083, or 7046. Same filter.

I PERSONALLY would not change the fuel filter unless it really needs it - I hate purging air out.

Fuel filter is "probably" a HA13040000A4?

I think these will work (you need to verify it for yourself):
Fleetguard/Cummins FF-5259
John Deere: M801101
FRAM Number C7517
BALDWIN PF981
NAPA 3263
WIX 33263

Thanks LincTex,

I use the Rotella in my truck also just didn't know if tractors required anything special.

I have only had it a week but I have fully enjoyed it already.
I have so much that I want to do with it, all I talk or read about is tractors.
Think the wife is getting Jealous. LOL

Getting ready to build a set of pallet forks for it

I just posted about forks on another post today. However, you might want to think about getting some debris forks instead of just two pallet forks. The multi-tine forks work great for pallets and are very versatile.

I just looked on Ebay and other sites for forks and they all seem to hook to the bucked with a clamp. I would suggest that instead of a clamp in the bucket, use chains that go around the back of the bucket and secure with a binder. The problem with an inner clamp is that if you're hauling brush, stuff will get into the bucket, hang on the clamp handle, and loosen the clamp when you dump it. If the forks are secured with a chain around the back, this problem won't happen. Since they all seem to be clamps now, you can easily add a chain by tying a chain to the underside of the clamp and bring it around behind and over the bucket. Secure it to the top of the clamp with a binder. Loosening clamp problem solved!

I, also, use Rotella that I pick up from Walmart. Tractor has run perfectly for over 10 years.

Another vote for Rotella 15W40. Haven't done the fuel filter yet.

What oil has everyone found to work best when replacing the engine oil ? ...

It's an old thread I know, but I just did an oil change on my 2015 3520H yesterday and thought I'd chime in.

I use Shell Rotella (Synthetic) 15W-40 (5 Qt bottle available at Wal-Mart for ~$30) and a Mobil 1 M1-206A oil filter (available at Wal-Mart for ~$10).

My tractor is a little over four years old and on it's third oil filter after the stock one.

The oil filter cross-reference table for the M1-206 is here : MOBIL M1-26 - 23 cross references | oilfilter-crossreference.com. Anything in that table is a match for the Branson 3520 and I presume all of the others that have that same Kukje engine.

I have an '09 3820i and I've always used Shell Rotella 15w 40. No problems in 9 years. I also have a set of 48" pallet forks and a set of clamp on debris forks. I use them both a lot! Enjoy your tractor it's a real workhorse! I got the Titan debris forks, and so far they have exceeded my expectations! I've moved brush as well as log rounds up to about 1000# with them and they didn't even grunt.

My wife thought I was crazy for buying such a "big tractor" when we got the 3520H. After all, she already had a 28HP Craftsman garden tractor.

But she uses it way more than I do. I work from home and I often hear it start up and look out the window to see her doing something with the "big tractor". She loves it.

Maybe you should get your wife 4720, pblanton:)

Personally I think people make way to much over what particular name brand oil they use. Having the right weight is important, meeting the right spec is important, synthetic versus partially synthetic versus non-synthetic is an important consideration. Changing the oil when it is due is very important. But the company name on the label of the oil container.... that is probably far less important than the pre-mentioned items. From my point of view, all the claims of a particular brand being superior are pretty much unverifiable prejudices. A pretty harmless prejudice, but a prejudice none the less.
