Replace windshield for ford F350 - how cold can I go?

Earlier I asked about replacements, now I'm wondering about temps. It looks like it's not going to warm up (above 50F) in the DC area until March. How warm does it need to be for a good successful windshield replacement?

Take your vehicle to a shop that has heat. No outside temps will matter that way. I wouldn't want to put the rubber sealant on below 60-70F.

Thanks, I realize that I need warmth, but the shops don't offer overnight parking, so like today I would have driven in at 10F, they would put it on, then I drive out a 20F.
And I don't trust the shops because they'll tell me they can do it at 40 below.

Ive had windows replaced in the winter below freezing many times. Safelite has always been go to company. Very professional and helpful last time my kid went 4 wheeling and broke glass in tailgate in his jeep the guy help him do body work to get the hatch closed.:thumbsup: My other truck has a sun visor on it that has to come off to get windsheild old one company said I had to remove it first before they did the shield Safelite does it no problem.:cool2::drink:

And they dont always use OEM spec glass. Ever wonder why some glass looks clearer than others?
