Heard a story of two guys that were getting ads about stuff they discussed at their lunch meetings. So they decided to come up with a subject to test their theory that their phones were spying on them. So they decided to discuss knitting at their next meeting, and made a point not to search for or say the word before their next lunch meeting. And then talked about knitting at their meeting, and the next day both guys were getting ads about knitting even though they had never said anything about knitting while using their phones.

If the phones were listening to me and the guys I work with, I'd be getting ads for donkey rears and mike foxtrots.

To test this, I've been saying "sexy women" over and over, so far nothing.....
