Ok guys I have been contemplating getting a loader for my 155d, but I have a few questions/concerns. First off I tried to call Coldwater and there was no answer, so does anyone know if they are still in business? I was going to get a quote on a loader from them and also ask him the same question I am asking you guys. What do I do since I don't have that adapter plate by my shifter for the hydraulic lines? See attached picture it has the R,1,2,3 labeled on it. The 155d's that I have seen have that adapter plate to plumb the hydraulic lines and I am not sure if Coldwater has something for this or if I can bypass that plate and use different ports on my tractor.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks 155 hydro plate.PNG

Have you considered Koyker?

I have considered Koyker, but I was just wondering what Coldwater's price would be too. That way I would have a comparison between the 2 of them. I have a Koyker on my 2210d and its very nice, was just looking for other options.

Winston I was looking at that diagram from Hoye prior to my post and I my brain must not have processed the diagram flow chart correctly. I haven't seen a 155d with a loader up close or know the correct hydraulic flow with a loader attached. I just know that the block in the picture that I posted is for a 155d with a loader is how they route the hydraulic lines, so I didn't think that adding the adapter from Hoye at the pump would change the flow, but now that I am looking at it again I think it would work. I just kept thinking that I needed that original block in the picture for a loader to work was all. I would also want PB for the setup so I need to consider that too. I will have to look at the flow chart again and figure it out.

And yes that is the number I called yesterday. Voicemail was not set up and no answer the 2 times I called. I will try again today.

Thanks

If I remember correctly that block is just a convenient place to attach fittings. It does not have anything mechanical inside. It just redirects the oil the same way that it is done on our diagram- just up by the seat instead of down by the pump.

Thanks Aaron for confirming that. I will need to get a quote on a loader next and figure out the PB setup too. I will keep everyone posted on what I come up with for prices ect.

I've got one of those blocks around somewhere, but I remember that even when the YM155s were new that block was not a really satisfactory way to run a loader. The flow was just too low. A better way is to simply add a small accessory pump to the front engine pulley. Yanmar made a kit for doing that and eventually sold them that way.

Thanks rScotty, and now that you mention that I do remember seeing a 155 with a pump set up like you described, but didn't really think anything of if until now. I will have to see what a pump setup like that will set me back first before anything else.

Coldwater did call me back late last Friday. Loader would be $2300, and approximately $500 to ship. So once I figure out the ideal hydraulic set up and price I will have an answer.
