Seems like every page ya look at has an ad touting that.
Was on Bobcats website one night, clicked on one of their pages and immediately had a full page ad tellng me I could get laid in Middlesboro tonight. I asked my wife how long it would take me to get to Middlesboro, she said a couple of hours. I told her thanks and that it was too late to go tonight but I could make it tomorrow. After she saw what was on the screen she was not near as amused as I was. Turned out to be virus.

OP here. Turns out, my iPhone 6 microphone settings allow no apps access and the other end of that call checked her settings and they only allowed Google Maps and Amazon Fire TV. Who knows how that network is wired...

Alan, when ever I had some backhoe work to do, I excused myself with "I need to go jump on my hoe". Not much mirth from SWMBO here either.

Last year I got tired of seeing a lot of the crap Facebook was putting on the side bar so I went to a couple of department stores and searched for bikinis. Had a pleasant looking side bar for months. Now I just zone everything out that isn't friend related.

I don't go to FB anymore, and can't even say that I miss them . They gave me an ultimatum; either the tinfoil hat goes, or we do.

Just so you know... I was using an old outdated Tom Tom, so while I was down south working, I bought a new one. I used a southern bank, a southern card, and Tom Tom only plugs into your cigarette lighter. When it loaded, it loaded a map of my hometown in NY...

Later, I discovered that it uses the link from Sirius radio to ID your vehicle, and that is associated with it's primary location....

Can we include non-creepy, or at least beneficial, examples?

I tried to buy some groceries once, and my card got rejected. It turns out that it was deactivated due to suspicious activity. There were a couple of small charges in a drug store on the east coast, which were not me.

They sent me a new card and asked me to confirm that no other charges were invalid on the final statement for the old card. Their assessment was exactly right.

I was amazed that they picked up on this so quickly and accurately, without generating false issues when I travel.

When we travel we get calls from the credit card company confirming we made purchases. We also get called if we order stuff from more than one state in a day.
