I guess I've always been a bit competitive, so recently it's been a little difficult for me to realize I've got to do a bit less. I've been doing the only yard work done next door for the last 8 or 10 years, but I've told the neighbor that I won't be able to do it in the future. My wife thinks I should hire our own yard work done, but I haven't given up on that yet. I'm not as steady on my feet as I'd like to be, don't sleep as well as I used to, etc. I've got one artificial knee, one artificial shoulder, and I've had a cardiac triple bypass.
No male member of my family, on either side, has ever lived to be 81, and I turned 79 today.
BUT . . . I've got no complaints. I've had a good life, a good wife, good daughters, and a good time, and I'm not done yet.:cool2:
