Broke some of the ears off of the hub, acquired new hub. Repair manual cites a tool 380000295 which no dealer around me has and I have not found a place to buy one on the internet. Its listed on NH website for $855 but nowhere can get me one.

You are trying to remove the outer lock ring with the four external slots, correct?
I would try and find something the right diameter that I could weld some pieces of key stock to, too make a wrench.
Or this might possibly work,

Another option might be a long pin punch and hammer to drive it loose.

I would try you local auto parts supplier. Take the approximate size of the nut and ask to see their spindle nut sockets.
This style nut is used on many older 4 x 4 front axles and full floating rear axles.

Yes that one. It should be torqued to 290 ft/lbs according to the repair manual (screenshot) so im worried about destroying it trying to punch it off if its really that tight.

Wonder if that is the same tool as used on the older dana axle lock nuts?

Otherwise agree with LouNY 4 pieces of square key stock welded to the correct size heavy wall pipe should work

That gives me hope. Local parts store doesnt appear to have something that big, but there's an axle shop 45 mins away that may be able to help

When I would make those sockets for people, I would measure from the root of one slot to the root of the one on the other side of the nut. I would then add about 0.010" to that measurement and turn a piece of tubing like the others have been saying. Then weld 4 pieces of the correct key stock to it. If you get that measurement, and the width of those slots, you then have what you need to look for a tool.

By measuring the picture, it looks like about 90mm between the slot flats and slots are 10mm wide?

About the TMFS 15 tool???
