Thanks, those videos are great! Some other expenses have come up that have temporarily put the tractor purchase on hold, might be next fall before it happens. I will probably rent one in the spring for the couple of jobs I need to get done, or rent a trailer and haul my son's tractor down here from his house in Sumas (he has a 5 or 6 year old 35HP New Holland).

Well I took the plunge today, and went with green. Washington Tractor had a deal on a batch of leftover 2017 1025R TLBs that I couldn't refuse. Delivery in 1-2 weeks (the snowstorm is slowing down their deliveries).

Here is a pic (although mine won't actually be this one, someone else bought this one out from under me while I was looking at it, so mine is coming in from their warehouse).

Very nice... I didn't realize they had both a front and rear seat. This is the one aggravating thing about my BX... I have to rotate the seat.

Thanks! Yeah, that was a change I think somewhere around 2016-2017. Older models have a swivel seat.

Kubota is probably saving all of around $300-400 in manufacturing costs by not putting the extra seat. I have used my BH a lot and like Dragoneggs get real irritated at moving the seat around.

Keep us posted on how and what with your new toy.

Making sure the seat swivels easily has made a big difference.

When new it was very stiff... lubed it and much better.

I'm going to look into lubing it now that you mention it.

I disconnected one of the springs and it worked a lot easier and smoother. Have to make sure it is latched each time though as that is the spring.
