I wish we had the Amish out here.

We have a small community of them in Unity Maine, They have a couple of small shops, I never stopped in but someday I'm going to just to see what they have, I have purchased some bread from them in the past and it left a lot to be desired..

But they seem to put there heart and sole into some of there hardware..

There is a Menonite store I have gone to. Interesting what they have there. It's where I ended up going, because I just had to have one of those clothes lines with the 15" pulleys.

There's a larger group of Amish or Mennonites up around the Sherman Mills/Smyrna region. They build sheds and camps to sell, or another business sells metal roofing material. It's nice to see them fixing up the big old barns which have been deteriorating for decades. There's also the "Pioneer Place" Pioneer Place - Amish General Store - Smyrna, ME,
selling all sorts of hardware supplies.

Picked up the ecofan this morning and mounted on my LP gas stove. My thoughts are just OK as far as air movement.IMHO it would be a better fan with more heat from a wood stove verses LP gas stove.A little bit of buyers remorse.

That is probably why I had no luck with mine, my soapstone stove throws a lot of heat but the surface temps are nowhere near a cast or steel stove.

I checked the stove top temps with my heat gun they registered around 350 degrees. The fan spins but not at warp speed.LOL

Mine runs at around 400F, I'm very careful with going any higher than that, I could crack a stone and they ain't cheap..

I don't know how hot my stove gets, but sometimes the fan spins so fast that I am afraid of it taking off!

Wanna trade ??? We had a wood pellet stove for the last 15 years with twin blowers that put out great heat. Now that the wife are getting older we just got tired of lugging the 40lbs bags of pellets. This is out first year with the free standing Joutal LP stove, still trying to get used to it.
