Comparison MF vs. Mahindra vs. TYM vs. Branson 30-40hp

30-40hp MF vs. Mahindra vs. TYM vs. Branson, all 4x4 w/ loader.

Like new (under 150hrs) close to the same price, none has a dealer near by.

I'm want to upgrade what I've had for years, budget appox $15k.

Is this apples to apples or not even close..?

List models. One could weigh 2000lbs, and another could weigh 4000lbs. Without model numbers we can't tell. When it comes to tractors weight=work done. Also there could be a model that's a lemon, like the B3350 Kubota. Heck, the TYM, Branson, and Mahindra could all be the same tractor with different paint and loaders!

30-40 hp can be a big difference. But lets just say they are comparable models of the same 35hp.

I looked at this and initially thought it was a hard question. How to you compare these four? But actually its really easy. Sit on the seat of each one, start it up and drive it around a little. The most comfortable wins.

Add LS and Kioti to the list and I think you have a list of very good, competitive smaller brand tractors. All are good, with probably similar specs (give Mahindra and Branson some props for capacity and weight). But one tangible difference that will make you love or hate your new tractor is: feel. Can you run it for hours on end and feel comfortable? How are the controls placed for you? Do you like the noise, smell, etc? Visibility, stability, etc.

Piddly little things until you have a few hours under your belt.

ive only used one Mahindra, its been in the shop 4 times and has to go back cause the 3 point wont work, has less than 100 hours on it, 2018 model 4045

Not real sure on the models other than the HP. Still learning ( got a long way to go ).

I was just curious if they WERE close in size, are the brands that much better/different.

I'll narrow it down & get more info.

I bought a Massey Ferguson 2607H last spring, ive got nearly 800 hours on it. So far ive had no problems with it at all. I use it mostly to to pull a hay rake and load round bails on trailers. Ive got a 2016 John deere 1025R its been a great tractor also, its just a little small, but its good for yard work.
