Or remove the intake manifold and the heads to reduce the weight of the engine?

The price of the replacement gaskets would probably exceed the price of an engine hoist. I’m pretty sure this motor has aluminum heads and a plastic intake manifold so it wouldn’t help much anyway.

LOL, that is awesome. Unfortunately she is not running. Compression check shows about 30 - 50psi per cylinder. So something bad is wrong. Nice plan 'B'. LOL

That is a thought, I could remove the heads, the intake is already removed. The intake is plastic, no weight there. The heads are aluminum, but they are huge, may lose enough weight. Oh, no I cannot remove the front bucket easily, that is the larger models that can do that. My FEL is nothing more than a fancy wheel barrel. LOL
