It was along time ago, but they have never tried to improve on the design. That is pushing 20 years and the same old thing, and just maybe if they made a side discharge you could run a roller in the back, that way it wouldn't windrow against the one wheel..... jim
I've thought about removing the rear wheels and adding rollers (split for easier turning, of course) like my old Simplicity had. I wonder if, say 6" wide wheels with tapered edges would eliminate the issue? Anyhow, I don't want side discharge, then all obstacles would always have to be on my left. I've pretty much eliminated any windrowing in open ares by going clockwise with a 6" overlap on any windrow that may happen.
