That is a great tire on that series Ford and they look like they belong. That tractor will pull way more and ride smoother than with a different tread pattern. Good choice.

Side note here is that the wheel weight bolt pattern on your centers is the same size as older Deere rear weights. I don't remember the series but I bolted them on to mine and they were a 99% fit. I had to widen a hole a whisker. They were cheap weights and it worked for me.

I plan to get these filled with Rimguard I think, been debating this or RV antifreeze. The new setup is tubeless so no way calcium is going in them.

I had the dealer fill my 14.9 x 28 Firestones with RimGuard. Not a moments problems. Sure helps stability. You are correct - for God's sake don't go with CaCl. I fought CaCl for 27 years on my previous tractor - Ford 1700. Annual event - clean the ooze coming from the valve stems and replace both cores.

Well I finally got these on the tractor last night. The rims were not an exact match to the center plate bolt pattern and required the holes being slotted .090 outwards for the bolts to go thru correctly. The rims came powder coated IH white so I opted to paint the center plates to match since they needed painted anyways.

Looks like you have the 14.9 x28 tires.
I still have mine, but switched to 13.6 x28, and the 3pt stabilizer rubbing issue is gone.

Looks like the lower balls on your 3pt hitch arms might be quite worn.
I replaced the arms (about $100 each), though I could have just replaced the ball ends.

Great little tractor! Mine, with some new parts, and all new paint, really does look like new.

Did you change your front tires to the corresponding size as well since 13.6x24 are over 2" smaller in diameter than the 14.9x24?

Never had an issue with the stabilizers rubbing on mine, but I am religous about tightening them up after putting any implement on.

I agree it is a great little machine. My dad has a 1710 that I have ran a lot before i bought my tractor a few years back that I liked but the 1920 is so much more machine in every way it isnt even funny.

Well plans have changed on the ballast front. I took a trip to the local Rural King on Saturday and they had RV antifreeze on clearance at .50 a gallon for .-50 propylene glycol and I couldnt justify the price difference of 6x for the rim guard. So 95 gallons of it are in the shed and waiting on my fill adapter to get here. I will take pictures of my setup when I fill them but I think my small atv sprayer will work great for pumping the fluid in.

Carlyle has not lasted as long or been as tough as other brands.

I believe it to be the sugar in it but I dont know that for sure. I ended up not going with rimguard in the end because I was able to get RV antifreeze for $.50 a gallon.

Killer price.
I used -20 degree windshield washer fluid. Safer for the dogs incase it leaked.
