Good Morning Everyone!!!!

Today's low was 24ºF; 34ºF presently; low 40ºF's anticipated. Waiting for a true nor'easter tonight into Saturday. These coastal storms were a rare event this Season. Mostly rain here; snow maybe up to 10 to my west and north. Most years I would be bumming; this year bring on the rain.

David- Thanks for sharing your tractor retrieval pictures. I am happy you got the tractor home.

Trails End- Thanks for the link:cool:

"... Nasty mix bag of weather arriving tonight into Saturday AM,that should make the dirt roads real soupy"- Thomas. I suspect that you are having a decent sugaring season this year. Non-surfaced driveways and parking lots around here are getting ugly rutted already. This rain will not make things any better other than melt snow and create more mud.. Our driveway is wet, I have some geotextile material showing, but no ruts. After the trees are removed from our driveway I plan on some topping gravel/crusher run deliveries.

Buppies & Drew- Good luck at the doctor's. I hope you are both + surprised My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Drew- I hope the stabilizers fit this time. You do not need this irritation.

RonJH- I am happy to read that your Aunt is on the mend. I hope that you shake your upper respiratory illness soon. Thanks for sharing you Green Jay pictures. Wifey and I have never seen them before. Slow day bird counting here:(

Don- Wifey makes hummus with tahini w/o any additional oils. It is really easy to make (and cheaper). I love it with pitas (and veggies). I am finding that I can cook with far less oil, no sugar, minimal salt and still get flavor with garlic, spices, and caramelization with vinegars, especially good balsamic. Wifey and I are still researching air fryers. We were impressed with our friends' AF, but the basket was too small for our intended uses.

I need to get a game cam here as well.

Too much sensory overload researching out air fryers and game cams with all the makes, styles, and features.

I hope that Ted is ok?

I hope that everyone has a decent day today and those on the mend keep mending, and the walking wounded stay walking.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

We have a Cooks Essentials air fryer and the basket is 9 1/2" X 8 1/2" for comparison. It's OK - you just have to watch out when you slide the basket back in to line it up or you will be wondering why it won't turn on.

Jay the Green Jay was for you. 🤠
We had a kettle type AF. Gave it to our son. We got a Cuisinart TOA-60 AF toaster oven. Took a little while to get used to the timers and temperature controls. But is large enough for what wife wants to cook. Best prices are at Costco and Bed & Bath.
There is also a AF made by Breville. It is expensive and has problem with the AF operation in some reviews.

Anybody have a recommendation for a fuel/water separator? I need something for my parts washer that uses Stoddard solvent, as rain keeps getting into the tank.

Good morning to all! Low of 40 this morning, going up to 52 early, light rain now, with a chance of severe t-storms this afternoon. Getting colder overnight with a chance of snow. Weather can't make up its mind...extreme swings in temps. It was 62 yesterday, calm and sunny....

I am feeling much better today, body aches are gone, but now have low back pain...where did this come from?... Probably because I stayed in bed most of yesterday. Slept off and on all day and was still able to sleep throughout the night. Must have been really sick.

Cough and stuffy nose is still persistent, sore throat is a bit better. Just feel 'blah' today.

Drew and Buppies, hope your Dr visits go well today.

Ron, glad to read your aunt is getting better. Hopefully you will also continue to get well soon.

David, glad you got the tractor up to a workable area w/o any additional episodes.

Jay, hope you don't have too much washout on the drive. Anxious to see pics of the upcoming tree project.

Everyone have a great day! Prayers sent as usual.

Don & RonJH- Thanks. I like the looks of the Cuisinart and both it or the 5.3 Qt size Cook's Essentials would fit under the cabinets. If our toaster oven was in worse shape it would be a no-brainer.

RNG- Thanks for the link. A couple of those snakes were really PO'd:eek:

I have no fiduciary interests based on my TBN accolades, but I really like my Mr. Funnel. It works great for diesel and gas. My biggest complaint is the ~2 oz of residual fuel that's left which I note in a glass jar to check for quality, freeze point, etc. and then if decent quality will return to the 5G fuel jerry can. I do not know how your solvent would work with that micro screen filter material.

Ted- I am glad to see you posting and you are slowly on the mend. The more I look at the jungle out there, the more I think that more trees should be culled out. Most of the understory vegetation is bird/animal attracting and the wild grapes are trailing throughout the upper tree canopy.. The abutting land trust is doing a major log cutting operation. I believe they will be clearing ~10 acres of tertiary growth trees to promote habitat for grouse and woodcock. I saw an impressive amount of trees already down and stacked for transport. I have ideal conditions for woodcock here and have yet to see any in 35 years.

65°F and no rain. Actually just started to.

Wife has hinted she’d like to go to Waimea for lunch at Chinese restaurant we like. Sounds like a good idea. Stop by PO on way by.
Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
