If you meant 1000 hours, it probably needs an oil and filter change as Eric said.
If you meant thousands of hours, it will probably need a rebuilt kit for the pump and motor, which includes all the wear parts (piston, swash plates, thrust washers, etc) and seals. This may or may not be hard to find if not impossible but will definitely get expensive.
HST transmissions are usually made by big hydraulic/transmission manufacturers, so, who knows if they will keep making repair kits for older transmissions? And when the transmission gets to the point of needing a rebuild, does it worth repair for more than the tractor worth or just trade the tractor?
But if proper maintained, it should last for a long time. Pretty much as a clutch, if the operator knows how to use it, you can get over 5000 hours of it.
