Buying a new Branson

Hello everybody.
Been look at tractors for a little while.
Was interested in Branson , but looked at a couple of others to compare.
Drove an LS XR? Kioti NX5310? and 3 Bransons .
Had decided on a 4720H, last minute changed
To the 5220H.
Anything I should know going in??

I think the "free loader" offer is still on, ask your dealer about that. Always better to get rear remotes up front, and 2 is better than 1. Weld or bolt some hooks on the top of your bucket when you get it. Don't know where you're at, but if cold country, make sure they put a block heater in it (I don't believe they ship with them).

Then, just go out and get that thing dirty.

the Branson remote valves were a good deal when I bought mine a couple years ago. Like half the price that Kubota charges.

Hard to have too many rear remotes,
also consider a diverter for the front hydraulics for a grapple or such.

when it comes to the Diesel particulate filter on the top of the engine keep you tractors RPM's in the 2200-2500 range while working and you won't ever have an issue with it clogging up or bogging your tractor down,

I know why you want him to keep the rpm up high like that.
But his tractor also has the 540E on it which would give him 540 pto rpm at what around 1700rpm?
That tractor should be able to handle a good pto load at those rpm without any issues.
If it bothers gut it or replace it with a muffler.

My 3725's manual and tachometer say to run it between 2000 and 2500.

I think that loading it reasonably hard at ePTO speed would generate enough heat to keep the DPF hot enough.

I've never used the ePTO. I'm either running a wood chipper that can use all the power my 3725 makes (or more for large material) or a rotary cutter. I don't need a lot of power for the cutter but I do want to run at full rpm to both run the cutter and power the tractor up hill.
