Hi Tractor Peeps!
New to this forum, but I've been a part of many others. I've been shopping tractors for a couple months through various brands/models. Pretty much decided on a compact 35hp approx. with all the "bells and whistles" sorta speak.
Down to these 3:
1. Yanmar YT235 ($22,500)- Pro: looks like a **** transformer. Con: emissions - the engine DPF filter, whether that will be an issue down the road regarding the regen or cleaning/replacing costs.
2. Massey Ferguson 1735M ($23,500) - Pro: Stout premium tractor Con: emissions - turbo charged engine (newer Shibaura), EGR and a Cadillac converter style emissions.
3. CaseIH 35 ($25,000) - Pro: pretty much the same as the others. Con: emissions - also uses a Shibaura engine i believe, but has the DPF filter for emissions instead of the EGR style like the Massey.
As you can see, my only real concern with all of these 3 tractors is their emissions. Which of the 3 will be a better "gamble" regarding liability and future expense with the engine.
Any input from professionals or keyboard warrior will be appreciated.
Cheers
