None
I think if I go with Kubota I知 going with the MX5200DT. I like the fact it is heavier and stronger rear end than the L4701. I would use it for cutting, driveway work, and potentially moving round bales.

I have the MX5800 and no issues
The Tractor is way more than I expected it would be.
It surprises me quite a bit in what it can do.

I have to say that I have never driven or owned a tractor before this one but it is a great tractor for my uses at this point with what I need.

Good luck with what you end up choosing.

I think you are smart for picking the heavier built, stronger tractor.

Have the MX5100 (HST) - great machine and it has been solid and extremely dependable. I would buy another one if something happened to mine.

I’ve got a 2015 MX5200DT also.

It’s been a good tractor. 1250 hours. Issues I’ve had so far.
Seat suspension broke. So I replaced the broken piece of round rod.
Broke a couple of retainer bolts in the loader pins. Lost one pin.
Lost clip replacing headlight bulb. Had to buy a new headlight as Kubota doesn’t sell that clip. It’s spring loaded so be careful.
Had a wire loosen up on ignition switch. Still not sure that ignition isn’t trying to go.

Moves 2 4x5 round bales. I wouldn’t be afraid of 2 5x5. Does a lot of loader work and draw bar work. Heavy tongue weight loads will start to bend drawbar. Just flip it over it’ll straighten out. Just finished drilling and 30 aces with a 10’ no-till drill. Had to be careful on hills it will get pushed around. Pulls a buggy with 3 tons of fertilizer good. Again have to be careful with hills.

When it gets replaced it’ll be replaced with the M5660 more than likely. The 5660 is heavier and has a stronger loader. Plus you get the hydraulic shuttle. The MX is a mechanical shuttle.

It sliding around on a hill was my main concern. I have a couple of hills and not sure I like the idea of it moving around.

The key is. What are you pulling with it?

The things that I said push me around easily out weight the tractor. Hills I’m referring to are also 8-12%.

It runs a 7’ brush hog just fine. No sliding.
Pulls a 8’ disk just fine.
7-8’ box and grader blades are no trouble.
10 wheel v rake. Doesn’t push it around.

That is what I found with ours. If I am close to pulling what I should it is totally fine. 12' dump trailer 1/2 full - stay on the flat and i'm fine, on our hills it would be dangerous to lethal!

Not sure how hilly it is in 'bama but there are 4? tire width settings for your rear tires on the MX5800. I had the dealer space mine at the 2nd widest for more stability. Get your rear tires filled w/ Rim Guard or something also... Mine is perfect for use in the mountains & also on flat ground.
