A bought a welder on Craigslist

No FB sales, purchases or even searches at this house... CL is far, far from perfect but its what we'll continue to use.

In my area most people are starting to use Facebook Marketplace rather than Craigslist, it still has a bunch of folks that can't post a listing wos but at least you know who your dealing with and the messaging system works great.

The one that really burns my butt is the å±*ust throwing this out there to see if there is any interest ones

The ones that bum me out are the ones who post a picture of sales items that are hidden in a weed patch or covered with crap. If they can't take better care of it I don't want to buy it. Makes me wonder how they care for their equipment.

I agree, but I've found those are often the ones who don't know what they have and just want it gone.

The problem with FB marketplace is that you have to belong to use it, and accept all of the BS which goes with the site.

Do you prefer that they "clean it up" so that the pictures look better? At least you're viewing the item in it's natural habitat.

I for one do like good photos that actually show the product they'd like to sell. Viewing your weeds, snow or speck in the distance, does not entice me to buy your )%B&R#. Many folks do struggle with them.

I understand that. Yet at least when the pic shows the weeds which have been growing up around it for the past two years you have a better idea of how it's been cared for. That in itself should tell you that what they're selling is )%B&R#.
