John Deere 750
Hey folks -- first time posting here. I've got a JD 750 I bought a couple of years ago. One of my bucks likes to pick fights with the fuel filter for some reason if he's ever in the same field as the tractor and pulled out the piece of the fuel filter where the line going to the engine attaches. It popped in great but lately has been loose and the vibrations work it out if the tractor is running. Looks like it might have been press-fit? There's no real part number for it in the parts catalog (see pic, circled, where the hose clamps on). Any fix possible, or do I need a new filter unit?

I think CH15551 is the whole assembly. It's just this one part that popped out, but I'm thinking the whole thing needs to be replaced. I can get a pic when I get home, it might be more clear that way.

Correct, it is the whole assembly... been there, done that.. ;) One of those "suck it up" $50 moments that we don't like to happen.

What is buck's hide worth?? :D

Have you tried utilizing any type of JB weld or super glue?

I have not. I was a little concerned about using something like that where it might be in contact with fuel. I can certainly give it a shot.
