The TAURUS G2c is on sale (plus $25 rebate) at Rural King thru April 13th.

I bought one yesterday (4/8) at RK in Zephyrhills, Fl.

Total cost: $179.99 + $12.60 tax, - $25 mail in rebate = net: $167.59

A UNBELIEVABLE price for a (12+1) 9mm handgun with 2 magazines.

It has good reviews too!

Very good price. Run a couple hundred rounds through it and let us know how it performs.

That's easy: Don't wait for ME to "run a couple hundred rounds through it".
Read the reviews!
The Taurus G2c has been around a while.
Some folks have put 3000+ rounds through it.

I have the Millenium G2 and have never had 1 failure. I paid $299 for mine 2 years ago at Academy. Probably have 500 rounds through it and have never taken it apart and cleaned it. It is a rock solid performer.

Even though I'm somewhat of a "gun snob" I have the regular Millennium G2 as well. It's my "work gun" as in working out on my remote property, not work as in duty gun. I bought it with fairly low expectations but didn't want a $600+ gun on my hip getting the snot beat out of it. It's actually a pretty decent gun and considering the abuse it gets, holding up well. Never an issue. Although I don't much like for any kind of recreational shooting, it gets lots of rounds thru it since I do wear it often. Kind of impressed with its durability and how it doesn't seem to care about my mistreatment.

Buddy got the G2C couple months ago from PSA for nearly that good a price. He raves about it and is quite happy with it. With the regular G2, P938, P365, LC9s the G2C doesn't really have a place for me, but if my G2 grew legs or something that's probably what I'd turn to for a replacement.

I have 1 Taurus pistol. I have owned it for about 25 Years.
One is enough.....in fact... it's one too many. I would never consider another one, well... maybe if it was free. Then I would gift it to my neighbor in hopes his wife would shoot him with it.
YMMV.

I think others would say that Taurus has come a LONG way in the past 25 years.
Many things made in Korea 25 years ago were considered to be junk also.

A 25 year old pistol is probably not up to today's standards. I think Taurus is a good fit for a lot of us that need some reliable home protection and don't want to break the bank. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. I actually bought my Millenium G2 during the Father's Day sale a couple of years ago and got a free 22 revolver with it, so yep, $299 for a 9mm and a 22 pistol.
