Hydraulic fluid help for Shenniu Hardy 254???????

Greetings from Arizona! I'm new to this site, but am in desperate need of some help with this tractor that we just bought from a friend's estate WITHOUT the manual, which is much needed!

Hubby needs to know WHERE to add hydraulic fluid to a Hardy 254 4x4 oldie but goodie.

ANY help with this will be VERY much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

An overall photo of the tractor from the rear, both sides, the serial and other identification plate which may be on the lower dash,

I left out the Chinese name and googled Hardy Tractor and found this info. The web links are dead. Clearly a Chinese tractor! Many Chinese tractor were imported into North America and the importers renamed them.

Most Chinese tractors follow the same design concepts. In the few I have studied the rear 3 pt hitch hydraulics had a reservoir immediately under the top of the lift arm assembly. Unlike other tractors which utilize the transmission case as the reservoir for hydraulic fluid along with lubricating the gears, the Chinese separate the two perhaps to minimize the volume of more expensive hydraulic fluid.

I have a Chinese friend living in Canada.
I provided him with this info:

My request is that he try and find an email contact within this company and, if successful, ask if they possibly have an English manual for whatever this tractor was sold as elsewhere in the world. A long shot at best!

Why not contact Hardy Diesel (Google- Hardy Diesel) in Jamul, Ca.?
They are still very much in business, selling Chinese diesel generators every day.
They were apparently the importer, and should be able to help.

Thank you! I did look up the company but it seemed all that was on their website now is generators.
I suppose it might be worth a call to see if they have any involvement nowadays with tractors.

Suggest you alter the name /manufacturer of your tractor to something like HARDY 244 (aka Shenniu)

In the future, others who might give you advice may not find the tractor on the web

Sorry for digging up an old thread, but where were you able to find (and ideally post) the owners manual for the shenniu 254? I just picked one up and would love to know more about some of the features.
