Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!
A clear 26ºF for today’s low; high temp today was a sunny 60ºF. Increasing upper level clouds as the front starts approaching We had a bear visitor early this AM. It took down the lone feeder outside (thistle) and emptied it without damaging the feeder. Brogen made its and his presence known. A loud start to the morning. A decent walk of the lower perimeter, had lunch with Wifey before PT and picked up some hardware and chain to bear proof the metal ashcans used for bird food storage outside on the way home. PT is going really well = Mr. Knee is stiff. Cans are ready for hopefully bear aggravating tonight.
David- A really nice bird’s eye/P3 view of your place. Thanks for sharing. Your “Evolving Design” seem pretty well thought out. My “evolving design” is still evolving with movement at a glacial rate.:embarrassed: or maybe more on a more cosmic timescale. Good luck with your concrete work.
…. When I was young there was still a great social divide between upper class fly anglers who fished exclusively for salmon and trout and working class anglers who were happy to catch anything.- Eric. Happy Birthday!!! I believe there was a similar social divide here as well during the 1800’s. (still is, but different nowadays). I need to find that bamboo flyrod. It was a 13’ “Salmon Rod” with the old fashioned ring line guides. I think it was made by Orvis. The commoners around here fished for shad during their Spring spawning runs. The Bryant family apparently had great wealth. Colonel John Bryant was a cousin to the poet William Cullen Bryant. His house is also near here.
Drew- Your problems finding reliable help and the business practices of some of the local businesses with whom you must deal is saddening.
RNG- Good luck with the vibration challenges.
I hope that everyone’s day was productive and without incident.
My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.
