What's the entire message say?

No idea. I never listen to or read spam. The first time I got one, I listened far enough to figure out it was some kind of real estate thing, wanting to buy property or something. Didn't make any sense though because they never mentioned anything about where they 'bought', not even state or region. And they never mentioned anything like my name or town. After the third or fourth one, I realized all the names were different even though the recorded voice sounded similar.

I've had several of those recorded messages in voice mail recently. It's a scam, but what's the hook?
Probably a house flipper. They act like they are a regular person then try to offer you 25 cents on the dollar for your house.

I dont have a house phone so they dont call me, but I get letters mailed to me weekly that are worded similar. They are just throwing poop against the wall to see what sticks.

They learn these techniques in those get rich quick seminars.

I would answer or call back and request to be removed from their call list.

They come to my cell phone that doesn't have any address associated.

NEVER, EVER under ANY circumstances answer, call back or reply to any email!!!! All that does is confirm a working phone number or email address and get you on more lists.

Know the laws. That's a fact.

And in several states, if you want to keep the neighbors cattle or other live stock off your property, it is up to you to fence them out. Now that I can see, but I wouldn't like having to share half the cost if your neighbor wants to put up a fence line. Could turn out quite costly depending upon the length of the fence and the material used.
Most laws have limits on type of fence you are responsible for as neighbor

Property line fences are that way by law in several states.
In all seriousness, how does that work?

If you are on a fixed retirement income, your neighbor decides to put up a fence, how do they force you to pay?

Sue you?
Will the court place a lien on your property?

Seems unfair and unconstitutional to me.

Agree, doesnt sound fair in all cases. Several yrs ago a neighbor ended up dead because of it. It was discussed here on TBN.

It's the law. Read some Indiana fence law, for example here. Quite informative if you've never heard of such a thing.

It's about 5 pages of interesting reading, well worth it for the eye opening. ;)
https://www.extension.purdue.edu/extmedia/EC/EC-657.pdf

For example, you stand in your field and face your adjacent property owner. Half of the property line to your right is your fence and responsibility. So if you're facing north, the east half is yours and the west half is your neighbors.

There's all kinds of township specific options for fencing out and fencing in options, crop protection, animal issues, etc... it's not all cut and dried, there are legal ways to get in and out of fence agreements. Everything has to be written and agreed to by both parties to override the standing state/township laws.

I can kinda sorta see that in suburbia where everyone has postage stamp-sized lots and the privacy benefits both, but not in the country. In either event I'd tell them to keep their fence inside their property line and pay for it themselves.

That doesn't sound right to me either. Why should it be your responsibility to keep your neighbor's livestock off your property? Maybe if you abutted open range land, but that's it IMHO.

....

You can tell them all you want, but if it's the law, you're gonna lose.

Not sure how it is enforced around here. So, on the one hand, agriculture is the foundation around here, and let's say this fence law still stands. BUT, someone can build a house beside me, then complain about manure odore, and if my brush fire displeases, them, I have to put it out.

As far as the calls go. As soon as I hear it's a recording, I hang up. got one yesterday, claiming not to be a sales or solicitation call, don't care, CLICK!
