It depends on the critter, as I recall, some critters do not fully digest their food so somebody else can eat their poop and get more nutrition out of it, I am not sure how that compares to eating something like bark however.

Always being the curious one. I wonder if there is nutrition in poop? Let's say you are a meat eater with no food. Is poop, better than eating bark, for instance?

There still has to be a lot of nutrients left, which is why manure is great on the garden.

My dog ate his own poop for 6 months, I had to watch when he pooped and clean it quickly before he ate it, it was a pain to get him to stop but I did it.

Our dog wont eat her own, but goose or rabbit poo seems to be a delicacy. Always saw alot of humor in that. I guess it's just basic childish toilet humor, but it makes me laugh.

I don't care for child toilet humor but our excrement couldn't be anything more natural. As natural as eating. I was once over at my old farmer neighbor trying to help him find his septic tank. We found it, an old thing covered in heavy timbers. The previous brothers that lived there had a saw mill on the property. He took a long handled spade and stuck it down, handle first into the soup the gauge the depth. Then wiped off the handle with a convenient large plant leaf!

I watched the first minute or so and I had to shut it off. I will go back and watch it I suppose when I have some time but I right now I don't want to feel the depression and sadness of a city I used to love.
